MarcWorks can produce valves, fittings, and components in a wide variety of polymers to meet exact customer requirements. Knowing the proper material and method of fabrication for application is critical knowledge that can have a significantimpact on product strength and performance. Some of the more common polymers used in plastic machining and fabrication include the following:
• PTFE • PTFM • PFA • PVDF
• HALAR • Polypropylene • and others
Typical requests for machined plastic components include sanitary diaphragm valve bodies, custom sanitary fittings, simple to complex manifold assemblies, and many unique plastic components that require highly accurate machining and proprietary manufacturing techniques. Other capabilities for meeting high-purity requirements include the joining of plastics and metals, plastic welding including fusion-and-stick expertise, and a clean environment to avoid contamination.
Common fabrications include chemical tanks, chemical curtains, enclosures, cabinets, wet stations, and other plastic products manufactured by heating, bending, forming, and welding. To assure joint integrity, plastic welds are electronically inspected. And when needed, certified thermoplastic welding technicians can perform onsite service, installations, and repairs.
